Transformers 3

A Transformers 3 release date has already been penned in by Paramount and DreamWorks studios in an effort to nail down a weekend in 2011. The Transformers 3 premiere is scheduled for Friday, July 1, 2011, according to but it would be a safe a bet that that will get pushed back in the near future. The reason being that any Transformers 3 release date would hinge on the ability of director Michael Bay being involved, and he wants a break from his work on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. It's also surprising that a Transformers 3 release date is already being scheduled before the actual weekend debut of Transformers 2, which might not live up to expectations.

Though it is debatable whether a new Transformers movie could be made by 2011, but is looking to be a certainty is two of the main players coming back for a third installment. Director Michael Bay has stated that he wants to come back to the third chapter after a small break from "fighting robots", and star Shia LaBeouf has also stated that he would come back at least one more time. It's a smart decision, as this is a franchise that could continue to make both parties very wealthy over the long term.

As Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen reviews start to trickle in, it is becoming obvious that it is exactly like the action film that people have been waiting to see. It's not going to be the strongest story of course, but one thing that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen reviews have had in common is a general sense of being impressed with the special effects of the film. I am sure Michael Bay didn't expect the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallenreviews to be good from the critics, but these films are made for the masses and the box office dollars; not the Academy Awards.
